A given value of base
voltage in a three-phase system is a line-to-line voltage, and a given value of
base VA is the total three-phase base VA.
A per unit phase
volt-ampere has the same numerical value as the corresponding per unit line
volt-ampere irrespective of three-phase connection whether star or delta.
Per unit impedance referred
to either side of a three-phase transformer is the same irrespective of the
three-phase connections whether they are delta/star, star/star, or delta/star.
